fobs and garage remotes and Adrian

There was a remote left in the kitchen of 39 – but Adrian appears to have had free rein in ordering boxes of them without a schedule – so we don’t know if that was the only one and there are several I found on the day we went round with the cleaners – in the kitchen.
Sticky situation. Agree a letter from Nkolika might be helpful, but if he is working at flat 7 and has been given access by the owner, we can’t do anything. Still there is reason to have fobs that can be located and blocked.

I agree and I have already been in contact with Vince and am just awaiting a reply on some of my questions.
Has Adrian since surrendered the remote he used? Do you feel that this matter be referred to Nkolika so that she can contact his Solicitors to warn him that although he is employed by one owner, it does not entitle him to have access to common parts, that he must sign in and out, and that he must have surrendered all copied of fobs, keys, and remotes. If he has discovered any that he did not know he had he should surrender them now.
I personally feel that his Solicitor should advise him carefully that such action is technically trespassing at the very least and he must be cautious of jeopardising the already tolerant nature we have shown with regards to the Settlement Agreement.
I believe a letter from hi Solicitors would be the best action to take with keys and fobs falling in a close second.
Peter.

Hi Yvonne
Thank you, I totally agree.
Adrian called me today a couple of times and I don’t really want to have to deal with this sort of issues anymore or expose our porters and undermine the transition process.
I am more than happy to work with Vince to get this done ASAP.
best regards
Anna

Hi All,
We had an issue with Adrian this morning – under control! However I do think it is important to address the subject of remotes and fobs in that order as soon as possible.
Adrian has access to the building via garage remote – we have not idea if and how many he may have, though he did leave on in the flat. Same thing with fobs. We have changed all the keys, but following on from this morning’s mini-crisis, it is imperative that we do something.
We understand and discussed at our meeting that the remotes could be reset quite simply and inexpensively – so let’s start with this and organise a formula for non-residents to be able to check and reset their fobs – or we can even set all these spares he ordered in the interim to cover those who are not on the spot. Shouldn’t be difficult.
Front door access is more readily visible on the CCTV.
I gather Adrian is working at 7 – Mr Album’s flat, so I trust he is being signed in and out.
I don’t want to be alarmist – but there is no reason for him to have access to the common parts of the building without desk knowledge during the day, or of his own accord out of hours.
Whichever way, it is going to take a good couple of weeks to get properly underway.
Please consider carefully and revert

Yvonne
