Good morning everyone,

I would like to advise that the East lift is back in service.

Rufus will be removing the signs from the lift doors and the lift can now be used.

Please be aware that the lift engineer is on site and to fully test the East lift the fire alarm test needs to be ran.  The fire alarm will sound at 10:10am this morning.  It may need to be tested a couple of times.

Subject: OWG - East lift out of service

Good evening everyone,

I would like to advise that there was an issue with the East lift doors during the earlier fire alarm test. Aspect are sending their technical engineer to deal with this but it is not known if he will be able to attend before tomorrow.  Until the issue is resolved the East lift needs to remain out of service.

Aziz has been asked to post notices on the East wing lift doors also.

It is hoped that the issue is a minor glitch and that normal service can be resumed once the engineer has attended, but any issues please be assured that I will keep you informed.
