OWG - lifts our of service

Good afternoon everyone,

Following on from last nights email below, I am pleased to advise that a cancellation has been secured with the Chubb for the specialist fire alarm technician to attend, and can confirm that he will be attending on Monday.

The technician will be testing the interface and connection between the lifts and fire alarm and whilst on site it is possible that the alarms may be triggered and sound around the block.  He is expected on site between 1pm - 2pm and is hoped he can identify the issue.

Unfortunately the lifts remain out of service until the problem can be resolved but please be assured that once we are in receipt of the engineers report a further update can be provided.

Good evening everyone,

Apologies for another email but am sorry to advise that all three lifts have had to be taken out of service.

The teams have endeavoured to rectify the issue but believe there is an interface connection issue between the lifts and the fire alarm and a specialist alarm technician needs to attend to locate the fault and device.  The lift team have no choice but to put safety first and have had to take the lifts out of service until this can be remedied.

Please be assured that I will be following up with both teams tomorrow and will provide an update as soon as possible.

I would like to advise that engineers from Chubb and Aspect are on site investigating a connection issue that was highlighted during this mornings routine fire alarm test.  The guys are likely to need to test the connection and if they do the alarm will sound.

Apologies for any disruption this may cause any queries please see Rufus at Reception as he will have up to date intel.
