One Warrington Gardens - important update - parcels & building security

Good afternoon everyone,

Please may we remind residents that when answering the intercom that they should only permit access to visitors to their flat and to persons known to them.  There has been a spate of parcel delivery thefts in local blocks and on each occasion, does appear that residents have either let them into the building or permitted them to tailgate them into the property.

We are advised that over the weekend a woman was attempting to gain access to the building, and randomly buzzing flats, we believe in the hope that someone would eventually let her in.  She was unable to provide any information as to who she was visiting and even attempted to enter the building via the rear when a vehicle was exiting the car park.  Fortunately, an observant and conscientious resident ensured that they weren't able to enter the car park but was concerned about her behaviour.

Given the issues and thefts locally we ask that all residents take extra care and to be vigilant.

In addition, during the day and whilst he is on duty, Rufus will accept parcels.  He signs for them and registers them on the parcel record, and signs them out once the relevant resident collects them.  Should parcels be delivered out of hours he and the building cannot accept responsibility if any parcels were to be mislaid or stolen.
