Hi All

Anna and I have spent the last hour looking through your job spec and
adapting one that one or other of us found earlier this year.

We both feel that a shorter one page summary is appropriate in the first
instance but have incorporated some of your very valid suggestions from the
ones we shared in the summer.

Coincidentally we both felt that:-

1 the float was too high

2 repairs of the level of up to £500 should only be sanctioned
by the Managing Agent

3 most of these repairs should be covered by maintenance
contracts and if these fail or result in expensive repairs then this is when
estimates and approval should go to the Board.

4 which car space do you envisage, as 39 will go to a tenant.

5 written reports of contractual or H&S should go to the
Managing Agent and not to the whole Board, unless they particularly want to
receive it or it is part of their role. Anyway this is not relevant in the
first draft of job description.

6 working hours were agreed yesterday as 7.30-3.30 (eight hour
shift with one hour paid lunch)

7 in the first non-upgraded job description we feel that it
should be billed as Porter

Best Regards,

Yvonne & Anna
