One Warrington Gardens - Clarkes Cladding Remediation from 20th June – 17th July

Good afternoon everyone,

Thank you all for your assistance and for providing the required access for the cladding surveyor to complete the necessary condition survey in your flats.

The cladding contract team from Clarkes will be on site carrying out more detailed investigations of the external elevations of the building from 22nd June – 17th July (these dates are provisional and are dependent on the weather cooperating).  These investigations will also involve abseiling teams who will be working on multiple locations around all elevations of the block throughout their duration on site.

The team will be working on the front elevation first and whilst completing this element the contractor’s equipment will remain on site - this consists of two weight trolleys (image attached for info) and a mobile tower in the rear garden area. The mobile tower can be pushed back out of the way and the two trolleys moved in certain locations and will remain attached to abseilers ropes.  As soon as the front elevation is completed the team advise that the trolleys (weights) will be removed from site and is estimated that this should be completed within two weeks.  The weather forecast is looking positive so is hoped this will not be delayed.

Attached are the location for the abseiler trolleys and a photograph of what the trolley will look like. The fence protecting the trolleys will be pulled back as far as possible from doors and windows at the end of the day and to minimise the disruption.

The abseiling team are aware that the building is a residential one and are familiar with projects such as this so will I am sure minimise the disruption and complete the investigations as quickly as is possible.

Please can we remind all residents that children must be accompanied at all times when using the garden.
