One Warrington Gardens - resident update

Good afternoon everyone,

I hope this email finds you all well and would like to share a general resident update.


  *   Fire, health & safety in the common parts - Please can I remind you all that it is essential that the common parts of the building remain clear at all times.



NO personal items including rubbish and recycling can be left in any communal areas (including lift lobbies and outside flat doors) AT ANY TIME.  Items left in the communal areas are a breach of health and safety and in particular fire regulations.  Items in the common parts are not only unsightly for other residents but are also potential trip hazards for yourself and others in the event of an emergency evacuation, but are also potential fodder to feed a fire.

Communal areas will be inspected regularly and if any residents notice any items being left out (including refuse and rubbish) please report this breach to us immediate.  In addition it is possible that a fine will be enforced for any residents failing to observe the building safety directions.


  *   Food deliveries - There have been a number of incidents with out of hours food deliveries, with delivery operatives buzzing the wrong and in some instances multiple flats late at night.  This is significantly disrupting some residents and has even caused anxiety and distress for others who have been alarmed when wrongly disturbed late at night.  Please can we request that you provide the correct flat number when placing food deliveries at night and ensure that they have your contact phone number so that can communicate with you directly when they arrive.


  *   Parcels - If you are expecting packages to be delivered out of hours to the block, and when Rufus is off duty, please can you add a note requesting that the delivery is left behind the reception desk and out of sight from passers-by.
